Matthew Lange
I am the IMGC Portal Architect and Administrator as well as a PhD student in Bruce German's Lab in the Food Science and Technology Graduate Group at the University of California, Davis. My main interests relate to the application of bioinformatics and information technologies in the development of knowledge systems about foods for health. Milk is a model food because it is the only food known to have evolved with mammals for the sole sake of nourishing the organism which consumes it.
