Event Bovine Genome Consortium Meeting (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory - Cold Spring Harbor, New York, from May 09, 2009 07:30 PM to May 11, 2009 12:00 PM)
Special meeting on behalf of the Bovine Genome Sequencing and Analysis Consortium and the Bovine HapMap Consortium, with the objectives of presenting the state-of-the-art in bovine genome sequencing, assembly, analysis and applications to the animal agriculture constituency, to discuss future research priorities based upon the Consortia's accomplishments, and to promote bovine as a model for mammalian biology and evolution.

Event 5th IDF Symposium on Cheese Ripening 2008 (Bern, Switzerland, from Mar 09, 2008 12:00 AM to Mar 13, 2008 12:00 AM)
This fifth IDF Symposium on cheese after Lund 1992, Besançon 1996, Banff 2000 and Prague 2004 will deal with cheese ripening, microbiology, characterization and flavour formation.
Event 4th International Symposium: Milk Genomics & Human Health (Napa, California, from Nov 07, 2007 08:30 AM to Nov 09, 2007 03:00 PM)
This three-day symposium will gather international experts in nutrition, genomics, bioinformatics and milk research under the theme of “Milk: from Genes to mRNA to Proteins.” Sessions will focus on the proteomics of milk, regulation of milk protein expression, post-translation modification of milk proteins, proteomics of milk peptides and glycopeptides and bioactives of milk proteins as well as updates from the International Milk Genomics Consortium (IMGC).
